Nairobi is the capital and largest city of Kenya. The city and its surrounding area also form the Nairobi Province. The name "Nairobi" comes from the Maasai phrase Enkare Nyirobi, which translates to "the place of cool waters". However, it is popularly known as the "Green City in the Sun".
Location
Sentrim Boulevard is located at the end of Nairobi’s Harry Thuku Road, an oasis of peace and quite with beautiful manicured gardens and lawns. There are 70 rooms in 2 storeys. The main guest area consists of the reception, lounge area, Restaurant and bar. The Mezzanine floor has the conference facilities.
Access
International flights fly into Jomo Kenyatta International airport, Nairobi. Transfers from the airport to the Sentrim Boulevard take 30 minutes and covers 18 kms.
Climate
At 5,449 ft) above sea level, Nairobi enjoys a fairly moderate climate. The altitude makes for some chilly evenings, especially in the June/July season when the temperature can drop to 10 °C (50 °F). The sunniest and warmest parts of the year are from December to March, when temperatures average the mid-twenties during the day. The mean maximum temperature for this period is 24 °C (75 °F)
